In 2005 I filmed a series called Dial a Mum for ITV1 – here are some photographs taken during filming – with my co-presenters and crew.

We filmed for 6 months all around the south east of England, a different house/contributor every week. It was quite a schedule!

Four mothers trouble shooting and helping people to sort out their lives. Whether it be de-cluttering or eating healthily.  Making their house through design a better place to be in, or just general commonsense, we successfully helped people and didn’t abandon them at the end of filming. There was plenty of back up from the production company.

With Jennie – the best make up designer in the business! I mean that, she is extremely good at her job – we couldn’t have done without her.

Germany 2004 with the British Army

I travelled to Germany for Great Food Live in July.  I was there to cover their catering competition.

Well that was my excuse – really I was there to meet men in uniform!

Here are some of the photos..

Why this picture? I hear you ask…well this is my spare room which the cats thought rather cosy. The blanket on the bed is the real reason I have included this photograph – it’s the infamous Dial a Mum blanket. I crocheted it over 6 months in between takes to keep me out of trouble. It is enormous!

These photos were taken on the day of a wedding we shot for DAM. It was Rif and Lida’s day. They were such a warm, loving family and our 5 days with them were some of the best.
