Lotte Duncan has been broadcasting on British television for almost ten years and is a skilled and highly experienced presenter. She has been known to cook anywhere, present anywhere and is not afraid of a challenge. Recognised as a leading authority on English cooking, Lotte approaches all television presenting with a light, humorous touch. But don’t let that fool you - she's actually quite bright!
Autumn 2007/Spring 2008 , Lotte can be seen on Channel Five's new series 'Cooking the Books'. Everyday at 6.30pm from November 12th.
Summer 2007, Lotte filmed a second series of Countryfile – Summer Diaries for BBC1. This year Lotte travelled throughout the beautiful countryside of Devon, covering many interesting and quirky stories from herbal foraging to worm charming. Lotte also filmed a three day English wine trail with the lovely Oz Clarke. Transmission August 2007.
Late 2006, Lotte filmed the Christmas Cookery for BBC2’s daytime show, Castle in the Country. During the series, Lotte took the viewer on a countdown-to-Christmas journey, with original recipes that were easy to follow. The tradition of Christmas food remained intact however, as Lotte shared her family country recipes with the viewer.
In the summer of 2006, Lotte spent a glorious time in the Yorkshire Dales filming for BBC1's Countryfile-Summer Diaries. Lotte was out and about in wellies learning, among other things, how to build a Dry-stone wall, seek out the elusive red squirrel and beat the local team at a game of Quoits! (Something she didn’t succeed in doing!) This aired in late August 2006. Out and about in the country, in the aforementioned wellies, is where Lotte is happiest!
In September 2005, Lotte starred in ITV1’s Dial a Mum. Lotte was one of four fantastic mums who transformed a member of the public’s life in more ways than one. Lotte concentrated on household management and food! Gently encouraging contributers to live a healthier lifestyle by cooking good food. She also helped people to make their lives more organized and calm by making sure their homes were places they wanted to be in. Clean and tidy – but not obsessively so!
Lotte is also a regular presenter, chef and contributor on UKTV Food’s Great Food Live, the channel’s live flagship show. She has also presented ten mini series for the show.
